Our group, together with multiple groups in Europe and the US was awarded this grant in October 2020. The five year project aims to use alternative animal model systems, coupled to massive high-throughput data collection, evolutionary analysis and data integration to make predictions of chemical toxicity in humans. Our role in this project is multi-faceted, including studying protein structure, evolution, protein-protein and protein-chemical interactions, metabolism, gene expression and more.
